Summary: What brings you to the sea if it isn't buried treasure? The answer should be 'literally everything else', but if it isn't, that's your thing. Just don't say we didn't warn you when you encounter said treasure's guardians.

History: Deep below the European oceans, there is a special opal and mask of Trojan origin. They could amass one a fortune, but there is one problem. Both treasures are fiercely guarded by a monstrous kraken, who does not discriminate when it comes to uninvited guests and morsels.

Notable Kills: Rams a tentacle through the back of someone's mouth.

Final Fate: After killing just about everyone who came for the treasure, the kraken is finally brought down by a guy with an SMG, who shoots it to death. However, while the mask has been taken, the opal remains, a place of congregation for smaller squid who may or may not be the kraken's spawn.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-The atrocious CGI and overall weak body structure of this otherwise realistically deadly cephalopod keep it from being anything more. It's a pity really. Most of its kills are rather messy if the clouds of blood are anything to go by.

Trivia: -Believe it or not, but Syfy actually held a contest for a name for this film, its original title being "Deadly Waters". Entries included "Killimari", "Stop or My Squid Will Shoot", "Tentacles Eight: Humans Two", "The Squid Stays in the Picture", and "Two Guys, A Girl, & a Giant Squid".

-The largest giant squid recorded was up to 43 feet long and weighed over a ton.
